Leading Wellness Forum - Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to the Leading Wellness Forum, a professional development event for women leaders, hosted at the Amora Hotel. By registering for and attending this event, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

2. Definitions

  • Participant: Any individual who registers for and attends the Leading Wellness Forum.

  • Event Organisers: The organisers (Dr Simone Boer and Dr Allyson Brown) are responsible for planning and managing the Leading Wellness Forum.

  • Event Venue: The Amora Hotel Riverside, located at Richmond, Victoria.

3. Registration and Payment

Registration:

  • Registration for the Leading Wellness Forum is required for all participants. Registration can be completed through our website or designated registration platform.

Payment:

  • Payment for the event must be made in full at the time of registration. Accepted payment methods include credit card.

Confirmation:

  • Upon successful registration and payment, participants will receive a confirmation email. This email serves as proof of registration and must be presented at the event check-in.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation by Participant:

  • Participants may cancel their registration and request a full refund up to 7 days before the event start date. Cancellations made after this period will not be eligible for a refund.

Cancellation by Event Organizer:

  • In the unlikely event that the Leading Wellness Forum is cancelled or postponed, registered participants will be notified as soon as possible, and a full refund will be issued.

Substitutions:

  • If a registered participant is unable to attend, substitutions are allowed. The participant must notify the event organiser of the substitution at least 60 days before the event.

5. Event Attendance

Check-in:

  • Participants must check in at the registration desk upon arrival at the event venue. Check-in begins at 8:00 AM (1 hour before the event start time at 9:00 AM).

Code of Conduct:

  • All participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully towards other attendees, speakers, and event staff. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

Badge Policy:

  • Participants must wear their event badges at all times while at the event venue. Badges are non-transferable.

6. Event Content and Schedule

Program Changes:

  • The event organisers reserves the right to make changes to the event program, including speakers, sessions, and schedule, without prior notice.

Intellectual Property:

  • All event materials, including presentations, handouts, and digital content, are the intellectual property of the event organisers and/or the speakers. Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or sell any event materials without prior written consent.

7. Health and Safety

Compliance with Health Guidelines:

  • Participants must comply with all health and safety guidelines in place at the event venue. If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please do not attend the event. Inform us immediately at [email protected].

Medical Emergencies:

  • In case of a medical emergency, participants should notify event staff immediately. The event venue has procedures in place to handle such situations.

8. Liability

General Liability:

  • The event organisers and the Amora Hotel are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property that occurs during the event. Participants attend the event at their own risk.

Force Majeure:

  • The event organisers shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.

9. Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy (TBA) for detailed information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
